The rock sat beneath the tree
the tree hung over the rock
the rock asked the tree one day,
"can I stay here forever?"
The tree said, "you already have"
so the rock rolled away,
and the tree lost its leaves.
The endless journey towards wisdom, from a man that knows nothing at all.

Prison.
Life is a prison
When you have felt freedom
For freedom you will long for thereafter
Is it a feeling you seek without thinking
In the prison filled with laughter?
Georges I. Gurdjieff,
A Westerner who went on this higher trip or at least on a large part of the trip, said:
YOU DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND
YOU ARE IN A PRISON
IF YOU ARE TO GET OUT OF THE PRISON
THE FIRST THING YOU MUST REALIZE IS:
YOU ARE IN A PRISON
IF YOU THINK YOU'RE FREE YOU CAN'T ESCAPE
When you have felt freedom
For freedom you will long for thereafter
Is it a feeling you seek without thinking
In the prison filled with laughter?

Inspiration.
Inspiration is to remember all the tracks that we've layed which roll on behind us in an august dust rain, and the clean wind of clarity that blows right through our life to show us the connection bridge to a sunny eternity, when we thank for each day.
"Regret and fear are twin thieves who would rob us of today."
-A good line from a poem by Robert Hastings entitled 'The Station', sent to me from my sister.
"Humiliation is good. It means you believe in something."
-A great line from a song by Billy Callahan entitled, "Fool's Lament"

Sin la Politica!
Something ethereal and unclassifiable must emerge in order to change the hearts of all humans who believe that the economic system of private ownership is working for the good of the hearts of mankind. Then ! will we experience true peace and the potential of nature helping man survive.

This Present Child.
Like a child I stare at the new world.
My snake skin past shed.
The wool accepted on my eyes.
As a flock of endless forgiveness and love.
For who can agree to be humble
that who builds pillars of grumble.
A weight removed and a patient wait rooted.
I float in the endless atoms of time.
A traveler in this present of mine.

DAY 4 & 5
DAY 4
This is one of my favorite video clips because it's daylight. About 6am in the morning the deer came back for breakfast just after the sun came up.
DAY 5
Night 5 was a busy one! Lots of footage. This time I left "food" out for the animals. Corn husks, pop corn, salad. But it's interesting how apprehensive the deer are when something is different at their salt lick. Watch. ..Sorry for the hazy images, it was a dewy night.

The Night Vision Camera
Rain is pouring from white sky here today in northern Minnesota. I watch it from a window. Fog seems to be steaming out of the trees and hanging in the air. Today is a day when you could either stay in and "putz", as they say here, or throw a poncho on and continue work outside. For now, I'm enjoying the window.
Wildlife in northern Minnesota is ABUNDANT! In this Coniferous Forest you can see all sorts of animals everywhere you go. Dead, or alive and well. The assortment of species is a long list, but for my experiment I am focusing mainly on deer, muskrat, squirrel, grouse, porcupine, raccoon, bear and cat.
For the past week I have been setting up an outdoor night vision camera. Designed mostly for hunters, it is camouflage and waterproof in a hard plastic shell with long strap in the back for attachment to trees and such. The actual model is a Moultrie Game Camera.
The land I'm on is rich with greens, berries and vegetation. In the middle of the plot is a large gardening area. Outside of the garden a Salt Lick was placed in the grass. Each night I've mounted the camera in different places, but the most animal movement was caught when it was mounted facing the salt lick. So far I haven't left any other "food" out for the animals. My goal is catch footage of a bear on the property, and thus far have only captured deer...cool, nonetheless!
DAY 1
The first time I used the camera, a raccoon was getting into the garden shop and eating the cat food and bird seed and making a big mess. So that's where the idea of using a night vision camera came from. Although, I never caught footage of the raccoon! Only Gracie here, about to hop up on her bench.
Wait a minute!!! I DID spot the raccoon!!!
HA! I joke. This is Mrs. M. in an example of what night vision shots look like.
DAY 2
And here is Minnesota's Whitetail Deer enjoying the salt lick.
DAY 3
This is what seems to be the family Woodchuck, Charlie. He doesn't come around much anymore since the cats have stood guard. He can be a pesky bastard who likes to eat the wood foundation of the garden shop and make the crawl space his toilette. However, even though they are normally not noctural, this could be a black squirrel.
Below is the video I captured...
There ARE fireflies in Minnesota!! These are not them.
An example of night vision video.
:) ...more to come.

Food.
Fasting is necessary to reboot your body. Fruits and Vegetables are the foods for humans to eat. Everything else is to be eaten with meticulous moderation and caution.

Simple words from a simpleton.
What is the use in ridiculous word fragments
the way I feel?
doesn't make a difference
I can't carry on
pretending I feel fine
I'm a man with a shattered heart
No day is as good as the days were
I work and sweat through each day waiting...
Today I am not a poet
or someone who doesn't know that
I'm a simple man
without.
